  There are More than 2,50,000 Gram Panchayats in allover India. Pradhan is The President of Gram Panchayat, Pradhan is known as Sarpanch in North India, Sarpanch is also called “Village Panchayat Officer”.

      Gram Sabha is a Assembly of the people in Villages, Who are Register Voter of the Gram Panchayat in India. Term of Gram Sabha  in Article 243 (b) of the Constitution. Gram Sabha is the SABHA of the Electorate.

• Gram Sabha is the Primary Body of Panchayati Raj System.

What is the Definition of Gram Panchayat?

Gram Panchayat stand for Village Assembly, Gram Panchayat is a Basic Unit of Local Self-Government in India, Gram Panchayat is a Headed by Pradhan or Sarpanch.
